01 / THE WORK
DETAIL
MATTERS.
Realism focuses on recognizable subjects, depth, and texture. Black and grey describes a tonal approach using black and grey values. They can be combined in one tattoo, but they are not the same thing. The subject, placement, and scale help shape the right approach.
Shading and volume on the forearm.
An animal portrait with blue eyes.
An eye and city scene in a leg piece.
02 / FROM IDEA TO TATTOO
START WITH
YOUR IDEA.
Include placement and size
Tell us the body area and approximate size in centimetres so Xavier can consider composition and detail.
Plan before booking
Xavier will review the scope with you before agreeing on the quote and session length. If you are travelling, include your dates.
How do I ask for a quote?+
Message us on WhatsApp with your idea, reference images, body area, and approximate size in centimetres. If you are visiting Mexico City, include your travel dates.
Is realism the same as black and grey?+
No. Realism describes the way a subject is represented; black and grey describes the tonal approach. They can be combined in one project.
How many hours or sessions will I need?+
That depends on the design, scale, detail, and placement. Xavier will review the project before confirming the session plan.
How does booking work?+
After discussing your quote and session length, use the existing booking page. A $500 MXN deposit is checked manually and credited toward the tattoo total. Your appointment is confirmed after the studio verifies the payment; a transfer screenshot alone does not confirm a booking.
Are you near Roma Norte?+
The studio is in Colonia Juárez, near Metro Balderas. If you are staying in Roma Norte, share your location with Xavier and he can help you plan your visit.
